Intermediate Barista Training Course

Our Intermediate Barista Training Course spans four days and is designed to prepare you for a career in the coffee industry.

Held in Langa, Cape Town, the course takes place over two consecutive Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a total of 8 hours of instruction each day. The course covers essential skills such as an introduction to coffee, understanding coffee equipment, espresso machine setup and use, espresso extraction, milk steaming and latte art, making a variety of specialty hot beverages, barista lingo, workflow management, and customer service basics.

Introductory Barista Training Course

Our Introductory Barista Training Course is a two-day course aimed at beginners and coffee lovers who want to learn more. The course runs on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm each day, providing a total of 6 hours of instruction daily. It covers the fundamentals of coffee, basic equipment use, espresso machine operation, and introductory espresso extraction. Participants will also learn the basics of milk steaming and how to make simple coffee drinks.
