Just Grace is a people-focused non-profit organisation established in 2012 in the community of Langa Township. The organisation designs and implements effective and sustainable initiatives to develop the community and achieve reduced poverty, better quality education, decent work and economic growth, and equal opportunities.
The approach aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and prioritises three core components necessary for successful empowerment: technical skills, soft skills, and psychosocial support.
Just Grace provides the hope required to catalyse positive change and unleash the hidden potential in Langa Township.
Holistically supporting learners throughout high school and into further education, training or employment by providing life skills, academic support, book clubs, computer training, leadership, coding, job shadowing, psychosocial support, career guidance, sports and culture.
Assisting high school learners who have dropped out or are at risk of disengaging and dropping out of school and who need immediate short- to medium-term intervention, including counselling, caregiver support, and life skills training.
Reigniting a passion in unemployed and disengaged youth aged 17 – 27 by offering personal and professional development training, computer skills and technical skills (accounting, barista, or sewing skills) to pursue further education, training or employment.
Empowering victims of crime or gender-based violence through psychosocial support and works to eradicating all forms of violence through prevention and education workshops and forums.
Providing immediate relief for crisis moments.
