IMPACT

OUR COMMITMENT

We are dedicated to creating meaningful and sustainable change in the community of Langa. To this end, our work is carefully planned and evaluated to ensure that we achieve an impact that is genuine and long-lasting. All of our work takes place under our theory of change, ensuring that every activity is linked to measurable outputs and definable outcomes.

Below you will find an outline of our programme design, monitoring and evaluation framework and evidence of impact.

Our Commitment

PROGRAMME DESIGN

  • Stakeholder Inclusive

All programmes are designed together with the various community stakeholders, including beneficiaries, schools, community members, NGOs, ward councillors and circuit managers.

  • GROUNDED IN A NEEDS ANALYSIS

Our programmes are informed by the needs of the community, determined by published research, surveys of beneficiary demographics and focus groups.

  • Theoretically SOUND

Our programmes are based on methodologies and approaches that have demonstrated success and evidence of impact.

  • ALIGNED WITH NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL PRIORITIES

Our programmes are aligned with the National Development Plan, National Youth Policy, City of Cape Town Youth Policy and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

PROGRAMME DESIGN

Monitoring and Evaluation

Just Grace uses the latest technological solutions to facilitate timely, accurate and complete monitoring and evaluation processes. These allow the organisation to review data in real-time and subsequently make any required adjustments quickly.

This process includes biometric scanners, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, PowerBI and MicrosoftFlow. These tools allow Just Grace to automate data reporting so that managers can use their valuable time reviewing the programme reports and acting. This software and related tools reduce manual input and allow for necessary input validation checks to be performed, increasing data accuracy.

Please refer to our theory of change, which includes a summary of how each programme’s outcomes will be monitored and evaluated.
